How to Reach Kainchi Dham
Kainchi Dham Temple is 8 Km away from TreeleafIcon. Drive down out of Shamkhet to catch the highway towards Bhowali.Once you cross the bridge take a right to enter Bhowali Market. Drive through the market and take a right turn on the second exit of the round about at the end of the market. Follow the road for 7 Km and you will reach the parking for Kainchi Dham Temple at the bottom of the valley.
Best time and day to visit
Visiting Kainchi dham on weekends and public holidays can become a nightmare- we have witnessed lines that take up to nine hours to complete nine Km. So it is important to time your visit. The best time to visit Kainchi dham is Tuesday morning- while there is moderate traffic at this time it is the most auspicious time of the week with minimal crowd.
Visiting on weekdays before five PM is also comfortable on most days if you are not able to avoid weekends visit early on Saturday or late on Sunday.
